Oh to my soul!

Faith Deliverance in Norman Park,GA

I got to lead worship at a church in Norman Park, GA this Thursday. I had the most fun with those folks. They are happy people. In a little country town, 4 different races got together and shook the walls down! WHOO HOO!!! God is Good!
The top right pic is a picture of Kevin, Lisa, and I. Kevin...well I knew him when I was just a teen...and was suprised to see him. Lisa is an annointed woman of God. Singing with her was a blessing to me. The other pic of me is with Apostle Clayton Sims Sr. and Clayton Sims Jr. I've known Clayton Jr. for a while. He is such a nice guy, and has such a beautiful wife;)
I know your favorite picture is the one with Josh and Issaac. HAHA! Josh never smiles. But he is still handsome.
Issaac preached a Word! The two beautiful girls are Lisa's daughter and Issaac's baby. :) Sweet thangs they are.

CLEAN IT UP

Today is Clean up day. My job is taking care of our church and etc; it's a blessing. I work by myself mostly for now, and am able to pick Natalie up from school...most of the time:)

I've had a crink in my neck all week. NO NO NO! and now my throat is trying to get me. NO! Yes indeed. I do shout at the face of the devil. HA!
Pray for me folk. I don't often ask for it...enough...but it never hurts to have some extra prayer on ya:) Healing.

The Shower Cap

My weekend/week has been well...

This is a painting inspired by my dear friend ROBYN. It's called The Shower Cap.

I've been wanting to share this, but kept forgetting. This was a most definately cool gift from Robyn. It's a kit from KnockKnock.com that you use to create your own library. When I loan a book out, I better get it back. Read the fine print.

DID YOU KNOW that there are vines you can eat? I KNOW! I am ready to taste some of the stuff. The picture of the vine is from my little garden. The vine was a small gift from...Robyn. SUPRISE!! It has grown a ton. It's on a shepards hook and surrounds my bird feeder. I think I might need to cut it back a bit. The man...well he is my neighbor Chris. He's a nice guy. He rode this nifty bike over to my garden and said, " I just love riding around in the neighborhood. You can see all these beautiful gardens." I laughed and asked for a picture. He's a funny guy.

You are meeting all sorts of new people huh?

Natalie's First Painting
Natalie has been begging to paint. She decided to paint a flower with a face. I love it! It's her first. I bought these little wood oval things you can hang on the wall. Perfect for little ones to paint on. I'm thinking that I am gonna make a wall of art.

I got to see my cuz-Harold Jr. at the hospital when I visited Daddy. He's a handsome fella. He's gonna start cycling again soon. That is such a cool thing ain't it. He's always had "perty legs"

So I decided to try something different for lunch. I'm glad I did. For 6.99 you can get a tasty lunch at the Coconut Bistro. They have all sorts of asian food...none Korean.
I got an appetizer, cuz I figured that since I was tryin' it ...I should try it. Ya know...
I can see now that in the picture you can clearly see the shrimp...but before I ate it I didn't. I ate all but one before realizing I ate shrimp. When I walked out, I walked out with a tad bit of a headache. Way to go Ann. The center sauce with the rolls was really good. I wanted to eat it with a spoon.
For the main course I chose Red Curry chicken. It was tasty, spicy, and mm mmm good. The white rice is perfect for balance. In all I had a good experience. I just wish I had paid more attention to the ingredients in the spring roll. I was so excited they had real ones...guess you can get too excited.
Eat something new.

What Can I Say?

My Life is an Adventure
What can I say?

Yesterday was wonderfully relaxing.

Yes.
Robyn & I took a night excursion to gather painting supplies. Leonardo D would have been so pleased. I have so much fun watching others paint. Robyn was thinkin' her painting was u-g-l-y, but I liked it. I am super excited about painting again. YES!

DOCTOR DOCTOR
Natalie got this "totally cool" Operation game from her Aunt Susan.
You should definately check it out. Man, they have improved it.

Talked to my Daddy this morning. Therapy is on hold. I can't wait until he comes home!

Next Blog. I'll try and be more entertaining.

TO ADD A NOTE: A funny thought crossed my mind as I was shoveling down my icecream sundae. I wonder how people would react to me standing directly in front of the gym window , staring at the people working out, and eating my icecream. Would they get angry or would they laugh? What would you do?

OH YEAH. Koreans:Asians can dance.ENJOY

Granny Blog

I'm gonna try not to blog the entire happenings of the past 3 days.

I noticed a few folks with a blog of their lives. Some were interesting to me, and some were too interesting.
Reading a blog is like reading bits and pieces of a book. Better than "soaps", because well...normally blogs are realistic. "Soaps" are not. Now you know.

My dad had knee surgery again. He's had quite a few. The first knee replacement on this knee went well...until a bad thing happened. ( I won't endulge in explaining) He was in horrible pain for about 8+ months. Josh prayed for him. A very short time later, Daddy's pain was gone. Miracle. This surgery fixed a broken patella and some cracked cement. Doc had to clean out lots of junk and thus...the pain is worse than a normal knee replacement. They put Daddy in ICU as a precaution. (heart history) God is protecting and healing. Faith.

GRANNY BLOG???

Since Daddy's in the hospital, I've been a Granny's for 2 nights. We cleaned the porch, and ate some food. I'm doin' good..3rd day..again-Gluten free...tried this Tasty Hot Cereal. It's like oatmeal...you can add whatever. Peanut butta and honey. Southern yum! Max barks at me when he sees me until he realizes I'm not the hamburgler.

I'm really not use to having nothing in particular to do. It's good. I've had time to tinker on the piano. Yesterday, I played in the morning with the door wide open. The house was freezing...so the humid air was nice. Too bad they don't make an outdoor piano. Good idea! Let the birds sing along. Snow White. not quite.

Aunt Susan came over. It's her birthday!
We are celebrating. Thank God for one more year. We all made it!

Tie that skirt up and go pick some of these!
