My weekend/week has been well...
This is a painting inspired by my dear friend ROBYN. It's called The Shower Cap.
I've been wanting to share this, but kept forgetting. This was a most definately cool gift from Robyn. It's a kit from KnockKnock.com that you use to create your own library. When I loan a book out, I better get it back.
Read the fine print.
DID YOU KNOW that there are vines you can eat? I KNOW! I am ready to taste some of the stuff. The picture of the vine is from my little garden. The vine was a small gift from...Robyn. SUPRISE!! It has grown a ton. It's on a shepards hook and surrounds my bird feeder. I think I might need to cut it back a bit. The man...well he is my neighbor Chris. He's a nice guy. He rode this nifty bike over to my garden and said, " I just love riding around in the neighborhood. You can see all these beautiful gardens." I laughed and asked for a picture. He's a funny guy.
You are meeting all sorts of new people huh?
Natalie's First Painting
Natalie has been begging to paint. She decided to paint a flower with a face. I love it! It's her first. I bought these little wood oval things you can hang on the wall. Perfect for little ones to paint on. I'm thinking that I am gonna make a wall of art.
I got to see my cuz-Harold Jr. at the hospital when I visited Daddy. He's a handsome fella. He's gonna start cycling again soon. That is such a cool thing ain't it. He's always had "perty legs"
So I decided to try something different for lunch. I'm glad I did. For 6.99 you can get a tasty lunch at the Coconut Bistro. They have all sorts of asian food...none Korean.
I got an appetizer, cuz I figured that since I was tryin' it ...I should try it. Ya know...
I can see now that in the picture you can clearly see the shrimp...but before I ate it I didn't. I ate all but one before realizing I ate shrimp. When I walked out, I walked out with a tad bit of a headache. Way to go Ann. The center sauce with the rolls was really good. I wanted to eat it with a spoon.
For the main course I chose Red Curry chicken. It was tasty, spicy, and mm mmm good. The white rice is perfect for balance. In all I had a good experience. I just wish I had paid more attention to the ingredients in the spring roll. I was so excited they had real ones...guess you can get too excited.
Eat something new.
